Event | JE UK Summer Fest
Junior Enterprises are slowly popping up in the UK. I created the summer fest as a way to invite JEs and Junior Initiatives to London to meet with WBC, an established JE.
We had a fun night of networking followed by a day of meetings to get to know one another and the network better. The event was a huge success and has now become an annual event!
In 2020, the 2nd Annual JE UK Summer Fest was another hit seeing an attendance rate of 110% virtually.

Project | 8th Annual Barefoot Benefit
The Barefoot Benefit is a 5k run, Fall Festival, and 1-Mile Fun Run attempting to raise awareness and donations for Samaritan Place, a local Knoxville non-profit dedicated to sheltering seniors who have been displaced from their homes.
As the only student in the class, I was in charge of all marketing, finances, event planning, logistics, and promotional items for the event. I appeared on different TV news stations, controlled the Facebook page, sent out blast emails, handled the accounting books, and scheduled various sponsors for the Fall Festival.
To date, this has been the most successful Barefoot Benefit with $11,650 donated to Samaritan Place.

Project | Beef Jerky Outlet
Over the course of the semester, my group developed multiple marketing campaigns, which included: event planning, guerrilla marketing, advertising (social media, outdoor, tv, radio), and purchasing promotional items. I was responsible for the creation of our ideas, maintaining the budget, creating graphics, and writing and editing our 109 comprehensive, in-depth book on our marketing plan.
At the conclusion of the project, my group presented our ideas to the President, the Marketing Director, and a Regional Sales Manager from The Beef Jerky Outlet.
Several of our ideas have been implemented by the organization including advertising on Waze (a navigation app). The Beef Jerky Outlet implemented this plan nationwide for all of their 150+ locations.
